With the engine running, slowly move the
motion-control levers forward and lubricate all 4
chains.

Check the condition and tension of the chains;

Checking the Condition of the Chains

37).
Lubricating the Grease
Fittings
Note:

1.
Shut off the engine, wait for all moving parts to
stop, and remove the key. Engage the parking
brake.
2.
Lubricate the fittings with NLGI grade No. 2
multi-purpose grease.
Refer to the following chart for fitting locations
and lubrication schedule.

Engine Maintenance
Service Air Cleaner
Service Interval: Every 250 hours—Replace the
primary air cleaner element —
check secondary air cleaner
element; replace if dirty (more
often under severe conditions. See
the engine owner's manual for
additional information).
Every 500 hours— Replace the secondary
air cleaner element (more often under severe
conditions. See the Engine manual for
additional information).

Shut off the engine, engage parking brake, wait
for all moving parts to stop, and remove the key.

Servicing the Engine Oil
Oil Type: Detergent oil (API service SJ or later)
Engine Oil Capacity: 1.7 L (1.8 US qt) without the
filter; 1.5 L (1.6 US qt) with the filter.
Oil viscosity: Refer to the table below.
