WARNING
Fuel is harmful or fatal if swallowed.
Long-term exposure to vapors can cause
serious injury and illness.
• Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors.
• Keep your face away from the nozzle and
fuel tank or conditioner bottle opening.
• Avoid contact with skin; wash off spills
with soap and water.
Using Stabilizer/Conditioner
Use a fuel stabilizer/conditioner in the machine to
provide the following benefits:
Keep fuel fresh during storage of 90 days or less.
For longer storage, drain the fuel tank.
Clean the engine while it runs
Eliminate gum-like varnish buildup in the fuel
system, which causes hard starting
Important:
Do not use fuel additives
containing methanol or ethanol.
Add the correct amount of fuel stabilizer/conditioner
to the fuel.
Note:
A fuel stabilizer/conditioner is most
effective when mixed with fresh fuel. To minimize
the chance of varnish deposits in the fuel system,
use fuel stabilizer at all times.
Fueling the Machine
1.
Clean around the fuel-tank cap.
2.
Remove the cap from the tank.
3.
Fill the fuel tank with fuel to within 6 to 13 mm
(1/4 to 1/2 inch) from the top of the tank. Do not
fill into the filler neck.
Important:
Do not fill the tank more than
6 mm (1/4 inch) from the top of the tank
because the fuel must have room to expand.
4.
Install the fuel-tank cap and wipe up any spilled
fuel.
