Troubleshooting
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Parent Unit:
Unit is not turned on.
Batteries are dead.
AC adaptor is not plugged into
correct jack
Child Unit:
Unit is not turned on.
Adapter not plugged in.
Adapter plugged into outlet
that's turned off.
Parent Unit is too far from Child Unit,
(out of range).
Child Unit is turned off.
AC adapter is not plugged into
Child Unit.
Parent Unit has temporary lost
connection to Child Unit.
Units are no longer digitally paired.
Units too close together.
Volume too high.
Transmission channel has interference
from another device
Unit is getting little or no power.
Out of range. - Connection indicator
is flashing & beeping.
Volume is set too low.
SOLUTION
Press and release power button.
Replace batteries (See "To Set Up-
Parent Unit(s) p.5" ), or plug in adapter.
Plug must be plugged into AC adaptor
jack (see "For plug-in use" p. 5)
Press and release power button.
Plug in adapter.
If outlet is controlled by a wall switch,
be sure switch is turned on.
Move Parent Unit closer to Child Unit.
Turn on the Child Unit. Connection
indicator on all units should stop
blinking and glow blue.
If this does not happen, pairing may
need to be reset. (see detailed
instructions on p. 10).
Plug in the AC adapter.
Reset system by turning off all units
and restart them (See "To Use" p.6)
Reset pairing codes.
(See detailed instructions on p. 10)
Be sure Parent Unit is at least 3 feet
from Child Unit.
Lower volume setting on Parent Unit.
Turn off all units. Turn on Child unit
then Parent units. This will allow Child
unit to find a new clearer channel to
broadcast on.
Parent Unit: Check power indicator
light. If light is red, replace batteries
or plug in adapter.
Child Unit: Make sure adapter is
plugged in and outlet is receiving power.
Move Parent Unit closer to Child
Unit (and be sure Child Unit is
turned on).
Raise volume setting on Parent Unit.
