Overview
Welcome to the Paradigm Touchscreen Interface Setup and Connect Guide. This guide provides
instructions related to the initial setup and connection of the Paradigm Touchscreen Interface (P-TSI)
(hardware revision C) including details to install and setup Paradigm Virtual Touchscreen Software.
Instructions for use of Virtual Touchscreen Software (VTS) are available on the ETC website
etcconnect.com.
The P-TSI is supplied with a universal 12V DC, 5 A power supply and IEC power cable (operates
at 100-240 VAC, 50/60Hz), and padded feet for table top use. A 19" rack mounting kit is available, sold
separately (ETC part number 4260K1001), for use as needed. Contact ETC Customer Service for ordering
details. ETC contact information is located at the bottom of this page.

• Supports Windows
to 1920x1080p (provided by others).
Note:
• Supports external monitor touchscreen interface functionality.
• Supports Paradigm Virtual Touchscreen Software (P-VTS).
• Multiple USB ports for connection of touchscreen or a monitor and keyboard when used with a
conventional monitor.
• Supports Ethernet port connectivity to the ETC Net3 lighting network.

The Paradigm Virtual Touchscreen Setup Guide is available for download on the ETC website at etcconnect.com. Install Management This section of the “General” tab provides the ability to [Uninstall] VTS or install a newer version from either removable media or the connected Paradigm Central Control Server (P-CCS). - Page 6 ETC Setup and Connect Guide Paradigm Touchscreen Interface [Uninstall] Only one instance of VTS can be installed at a time. You must uninstall any currently installed software before installing another. Touch [Uninstall]. The password dialog displays for password entry. Note: The password is set, by factory default, to 4116.

ETC Setup and Connect Guide Paradigm Touchscreen Interface Volume and Brightness and Display Settings Adjust the volume and brightness settings using the provided sliders. To mute the volume for the touchscreen, select the Mute Sound checkbox beneath the Volume Settings slider. -

ETC Setup and Connect Guide Paradigm Touchscreen Interface [File Manager] Touch [File Manager] to display an interface for basic management of files including copy, move, delete and creation of new folders between the touchscreen internal hard drive and any connected or removable media. -

[Run...] Selecting [Run...] to display the alphanumeric keypad for specification of a Windows directory that may be used for advanced troubleshooting. - Page 12 ETC Setup and Connect Guide Paradigm Touchscreen Interface [Collect Logs] Select [Collect Logs] to display a dialog that begins the collection process of all logs available; including any VTS data or Application Shell data. ETC Setup and Connect Guide Paradigm Touchscreen Interface [Set Password] By factory default, a password is required to access the “Advanced” tab as well as to uninstall Virtual Touchscreen Software. ETC Setup and Connect Guide Paradigm Touchscreen Interface [Ping Test] Verify the connection to other networked products, such as the Paradigm Central Control Server (P-CCS) using the ping utility provided in the “Advanced” tab. Touch [Ping Test] to display the alphanumeric keypad for entry of a specific IP address.
