Printer Server Setup in Windows 2000/XP
You may find that the instructions here do not exactly match your version
of Windows. This is because these steps and most of the screenshots were
created in Windows 2000. Windows XP is similar, but not identical, to
Windows 2000.
1. On a Windows 2000/XP platform, open the Printers window from
the Start menu, and double-click the "Add Printer" icon.
