Air filter
This model's air filter is equipped with a disposable oil-coated paper element, which must not be cleaned with com-
pressed air to avoid damaging it.
The air filter element needs to be replaced more frequently when riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.
V-belt case air filter
The air filter needs more frequent service if you are riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.
V-belt
The V-belt should be checked at the initial 7000 km (4500 mi) and every 3000 km (2000 mi) thereafter. Replace the
V-belt if any damage or wear is found. The V-belt needs to be replaced every 25000 km (16000 mi) even if there is
no wear or damage.
