Installing the SureLock 1™ Weight Pouches
CAUTION:
attempt to don your BC when it is fully loaded with weight. You
may otherwise risk injury due to muscle strain or a temporary
loss of balance.
The SureLock 1 pouches are installed with
the smooth panel facing outward (pouch
flap facing toward the BC). To install either
pouch, slide the closed end of the pouch into
the opening of the pocket. Insert the male
portion of the SureLock 1 buckle (A) into the
female receptacle (B) on the BC until you
can hear and feel it "click" into place.
WARNING:
weight pouch is secured, in order to prevent the pouches from
falling out. Involuntary release of both weight pouches underwater
can cause a sudden increase in buoyancy causing a rapid ascent,
which could lead to serious injury or death due to arterial gas
embolism, decompression sickness, or drowning.
WARNING:
inserted all the way into the pouch.
If any portion of the soft weight is
protruding out of the weight pouch,
it can prevent the pouch from being
properly secured. Involuntary release
of both weight pouches underwater can
cause a sudden increase in buoyancy
causing a rapid ascent, which could
lead to serious injury or death due to

sickness, or drowning.
