1.4.10 Removing and Installing a Floppy Disk Drive or CD-ROM Drive for
the FI45
Caution
!
Before you remove the flexible cable from the floppy disk drive, you must
first release the interlock on the port.
To install the drives, proceed in reverse order.

Open the system unit as described in Section 1.4.4.
Lay the system unit on a flat surface with the opening face up.
The floppy disk drive and the CD-ROM drive are fitted in a single
support in the system housing.
Raise the support approximately 1cm and lower it to one side of the
system unit.
Remove the connecting cables.
The floppy disk drive is fastened to the support with three screws. Release
the screws and pull the drive out of the support.
The CD-ROM drive is fastened to the support with two screws. Release
the screws and pull the drive out of the support.
