WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT
1)
SCREEN (G
2 )
adjustment
1.
Confirm that G
1
line voltage is 30±5 Vdc.
2.
Adjust CUT OFF
VR (R,B)
so that
R ,B
cathode
voltage becomes 180 V
DC.
Adjust with G
2
VT ( R V701) immediately prior
to the disappearing of the luminscent line.
2)
W /B adjustment
1.
Input a all white signal.
2.
Set the PICTURE control to minimum and turn
the BRIGHT control mechanical center.
3.
Set RV705 CUT OFF (R,B) and RV703 (CUT
OFF) to minimum.
4.
Turn RV701 (SUB BRT) slowly to obtain a
faintly visible cross-hatch.
Note the color that first becomes visible by
turning R V701.
5.
Adjust the other two BKG controls for best
white balance (neutral gray) of the faint corss-
hatch.
6.
Set the rICTURE control fully clockwise
.
Observe the screen and adjust the RV3301
(B ,IK),
RV3302
(G,IK)
controls for best white
balance.
7.
Repeat steps 1, through 7.
