Group of models 4 (See Table 2-3.)
Input a cross-hatch signal.
Make adjustment with the TLV, YCH, YBH VR, and XCV
coils of the deflection yoke to minimize nonconvergence.
'When the nonconvergence of the TILT component is
included in the horizontal convergence, make adjust-
ment with the TLH compensator. (Fig. 2-28)
Groups of models 1, 2, and 3 (See Table 2-3.)
Input a cross-hatch signal.
Make adjustment with the TLV, YCH VR, and XCV
coils of the deflection yoke to minimize nonconvergence.
'When the nonconvergence of the TILT component is
inchided inthe horizontal convergence, insert the TLH
compensator into the deflection yoke for adjustment.

Input a cross-hatch signal.
Make adjustment with the XCV coil of the deflection
yoke to minimize nonconvergence.
'When the nonconvergence of the TILT component is
included in the vertical convergence, insert the TLV
compensator into the deflection yoke for adjustment.

2-10. G2 Adjustment
Conditions
CONTRAST and BIRHT : PRESET positions
1.
Input a all-black signal to the COMPONENT Y IN
connector.
Select the cathode that shows the highest pedestal level
among the red, green and blue cathodes.
Connect probe of an oscilloscope to the test point that
starts illuminating first among the three colors. Make
adjustment with the RV702 on the C board so that the
pedestal level becomes 160 Voc as shown in Fig. 2-29.

Input a 525 monoscope signal. (Input from LINE A or
B with no burst.)
Set as follows :
CONT : 0%
BRT : 50 %
Adjust | SUB-BRIGHT| in the service mode so that
the 20-tone gray scale will be as follows :
OQ and 5 IRE => Cut off
10 IRE => Slight glow
Tnput 525 all-white (COMPOSITE signal without
burst).
Set CONT VR to 80 %.
Adjust the all-white luminance so that the screen
luminance will be 3 NIT.
Press MENU and select COL TEMP/BAL.
Select 6500 K.
Set
to "0" for both 9300 K and 6500 K.
Put the unit into the service mode.
} . Adjust to the standard values with <RED> and
<BLUE> of |C/T1 6500K BIAS] or
C/T2 6500K BIAS].
Set cut-off to 3 NIT.
<GREEN>
Fix as "400".
Switch the all-white signal luminance to 100 IRE.
Adjust to the standard values with <RED> and
<BLUE> of |C/T1 6500K GAIN] or
C/T2 6500K GAIN].
<Green>
Fix it to "700."
Repeat adjustment (10, 11, and 12) until the adjust-
ment is complete, and then write the adjustment data.
Press MENU and select COL TEMP/BAL.
Select 9300 K.
Adjust [C/T2 9300K BIAS]
|C/12 9300K GAIN
or [C/T2 9300K BIAS]
[C/T2 9300K GAIN] in the
same manner as adjustments 10 to 13.
BIAS <GREEN>
Fix as "400".
GAIN <GREEN>
Fix it at "700."
