Attaching
the
Handlebars
Toolsrequired:6mmAllen wrench.
1 Loosenthe lockingknoband
swing to the 6 o'clockposition
to unfoldthe handlebar.
2 Remove the plasticprotec-
tor covering the baseof the
handlebar assembly. I nsertthe
"quill" part of the handlebar
assemblyintothe fork. Youmay
haveto loosenthe wedgeto
allow it to slip into the fork.
3 Slidethe quill into the
fork until it bottomson the
headset.
4 Usinga 6mmAllen wrench,
tighten thewedgebyturning
the bolt clockwise.Thewedge
is properlytightenedwhen the
handlebars cannotbe twisted out
of alignmentwith the front wheel.
5 Pivotthe handlebar assem-
blyupright.
6 Swingthe lockingknobto
the 12 o'clockpositionand
tighten byhandasfirmly as
possible.

Tiresare inflatedwhen shipped,butthey invariablylosesomepressure betweenthepoint of
manufacturing and yourpurchase. A lways inflatetires to the correct PSi before first time use.
Rear Tire
1 Usethe valveextender/
adapterlocated in the end of
the right handlebargrip.
2 Open the roundcover
locatedon the chaincover
byslidingthe coverupward.
Align the openingin the drive
sprocket w ith the valve stem.
Threadthe adaptercompletely
ontothevalve stemandattach
the pump.Inflateto the PSI
indicatedon the tire sidewall.
3 Remove valve adapter
immediately after inflatingand
closethe roundcover.
_IL WARNING:
Failure
to properlytightenthe wedge
mayallow the handlebars to
dislodgewhile riding andmay
causeyouto losecontroland
fall. Whencorrectlytightened,
the handlebars will not rotate
out of alignmentwith the
front wheel undernormal
circumstances.

fingersclearof the pivoting
mechanism whenfolding or
unfoldingthe scooter, a nd make
sureothersare standingclear.
Note: Thecableandwire
assembly from the handlebar
mustnotwrap aroundthe
steeringtube or handlebar
asshown in step 3. Sharp
bendsor twisting of the brake
cablecancausethe brakesto
malfunction.

WARBLING: Failure
to remove the valveadapter
after inflatingwill causethe
innertube and/oradapterto
be severedbythe rear drive
sprocket.
Note: If you losethevalve,one
canbe purchased at almostany
auto partsstore.
Note: Thepressurized air
suppliesfoundat gasoline
stationsare designedto inflate
high-volume automobile tires.
If youdecideto usesuchan air
supplyto inflate yourelectric
scootertires,first makesure
the pressure gaugeis working,
then useveryshort burststo
inflate to the correctPShIf you
inadvertently over-inflatethe
tire, releasethe excesspressure
immediately.
