Cause/ Countermeasure
◆ The ribbon typesetting of the printer and the ribbon type actually being used
do not correspond.
→ Pull out the ribbon cartridge and check the type of the ribbon in
the cartridge. If the type is correct, change the setting of the
operation panel to the correct one.
◆ The ribbon cartridge has been taken out without pressing the
MENU/ Ribbon Change key while the ink ribbon is not used up
To the end.
→ The printer becomes to error and normal printing is not possible.
Check the ink ribbon.
◆The ribbon typesetting of the printer and the ribbon type actually being used
do not correspond.
The ribbon sticks to the card and card jam error will occur.
→Pull out the ribbon cartridge and peel off the ribbon from the card
and turn the take up bobbin shaft some(2-3) turns.
If the ribbon is broken, use Scotch tape etc. to patch up and roll up.
Check the type of the ribbon in the cartridge. If the type is correct,
change the setting of the operation panel to the correct one.
