Setting the System Environment: Printer Status

This item must be set according to the Card printing system being used. So, follow the Card printing
system instructions for setting.
To enter this menu, in order to prevent operational error, follow the
instruction on the display and press Clear key and Exe key at the same time.
Others are same as the basic operation.
* This parameter may not appear depending on your system.

Caution
□ Depending on the system, these functions may be invalid.
□ If the magnetic encoder is not connected, messages relating to Encode will not be displayed.
□ Encode Type displays, only when the optional encoder of ISO Hi-Co standard is connected.
This must be set according to the magnetic characteristics of the card being used.
→ If the magnetic characteristics of the card is different from the settings of this menu,
normal encoding will not result.
□ If the optional heat roller is not connected, Multi Card Print will not be displayed.
Function
Laminating or magnetic encoding and printing are executed simultaneously.
To change the card surface side when the card is ejected.
Select Hi-Co or Low-Co. (Only Hi-Co magnetic encoder)
When this is ON, magnetic encoding is done before printing.
Set the entry direction into the magnetic encoder (front or back).
Configure IC R/W connection status.
Laminating, magnetic encoding and printing are executed simultaneously.
