Using a Number 2 Phillips screwdriver, secure the PRE in the chassis by tightening the top and bottom captive screws.
Always tighten the captive screws on each newly-installed PRE to prevent accidental removal and provide

proper grounding for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding.
Step 7
When fully inserted, the PRE cycles through its power-on self-test. The FAIL LED comes on briefly (about 5 to 6 seconds)
and then goes off. If the FAIL LED remains on or is flashing, go to the
on page 26
section.
Step 8
Reconnect the cables.
