Possible cause and solution
Droplets of water have settled between the water
container and the side walls of the housing, or this
area is damp (see illustration).
 Dry the surfaces. Take the water container out to
refill it with water.
There is too much residual water on the inside walls
of the water container, e.g., a biofilm has developed.
Or the water container has a build-up of limescale.
 Clean the water container every day.
The water container is not in the correct position.
 Remove the water container and push it back in
again.
The water container was not correctly filled up and
inserted during descaling.
 Fill the water container to the descaling mark°
and restart the descaling program.
This is not a fault.
When the drip tray and grounds container are
emptied, the internal counter is not reset after the
coffee machine has been switched off.
