Cleaning and care
– steel wool or stainless-steel wire
scourers
Glass cleaners may be used to clean
the exterior. However do not allow them
to sit or "puddle", this can cause
damage to the surface. Remove the
cleaner promptly.
Clean by hand or in
dishwasher
Please note that the brew unit is not
dishwasher-safe.
Clean the brew unit by hand only
under warm running water. Do not
use liquid dish soap or any other
cleaning agent.
Most of the parts that are not
dishwasher-safe have a pictogram on
them.
The following components must be
cleaned by hand only:
– Stainless steel central spout cover
– Brew unit
– Bean container lid
– Lower panel

The following parts are dishwasher-
safe:
The maximum temperature of the
dishwashing program selected must
not exceed 130°F (55°C).
Contact with natural dyes such as
those found in carrots, tomatoes, and
ketchup may discolor the plastic parts
in the dishwasher. This discoloration
does not affect the stability of the
parts.
