DIRECTORY
Storing phone numbers and names
The directory allows you to store up to 20 phone numbers/names in its memory. You can
dial a number in the directory using just a few key strokes.

To enter a name, use the number keypad.
The name cannot exceed 13 characters.
• See the "Steps for entering names and special characters". (see page E19)

• Press briefly DELETE to delete a character.
• Press and hold DELETE to delete all numbers and characters at once.
• If a name is not required, go to step 5.

(01–20) to select the memory location where you
would like to store the number.

Press SELECT/SCAN.
The following screen appears and a cursor flashes
indicating that you can now enter the name.

If the following screen appears, the selected location
is already occupied. Then you can either change the
entry in this location, clear the location, or select
Go Back
to choose another location.
