Please familiarize yourself with the Savaria® warranty. It is
important to understand what is covered and how to proceed
should you encounter any issues with your Savaria van conversion.
Your authorized Savaria conversion dealer should also perform
routine maintenance (every 6 months) on your vehicle to ensure
that the conversion parts are kept in good condition.
• Use a nylon (or similar) bristle brush to regularly remove dirt and
debris from the main ramp hinge and cloth seal area
• Using silicone spray, lubricate all rubber seals around the ramp and
the cloth seal around the main hinge.
• Using a soft cloth and mild soapy water, clean all black painted steel
parts to remove dirt and road salt residue. Once dry, apply car wax to
the same parts to protect them from harsh weather.
• Apply lithium grease on the ramp cables
• Every 3 months clean the latches with WD40 spray, once the latches
are clean, apply lithium grease to the latches.
Please have your vehicle rust-proofed on an annual basis. This
provides added corrosion protection for conversion parts.
