    COMPUTER INSTRUCTIONS This computer provides different programs designed to help you meet your fitness goals. Simply choose the program you like, set the time for the workout, and begin exercising. The computer display will show the elapsed time, speed, distance, pulse, and approximate calories burned.
  • Page 12 COMPUTER INSTRUCTIONS PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS This computer offers a unique user interactive "TARGET" zone feature. You have the option of interacting with any of six different programs to achieve a workout that is fun and exhilarating. These programs set speed targets that change throughout the program. The "TARGET" zone display will tell you if your speed is too fast or too slow.

    CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for 4800R several years, or are severely overweight, you must start slowly and increase your time on the Recumbent Bike gradually: a few minutes per workout. Initially, you may be able to exercise only for a few minutes in your target zone, however, your aerobic fitness will improve over the next six to eight weeks.
