Power Supply

Insert only batteries of the same type and always
replace all batteries
If the microphone is not used for a longer period,
remove the batteries Thus, the microphone will
not be damaged in case of battery leakage
1) Unscrew the microphone cartridge (1)
2) To unlock the battery holder (7), press the lock
(6) backwards in arrow direction
3) Remove the battery holder up to the stop (fig  4)
and insert two 1 5 V batteries of size AA (R6)
with the positive and negative connections as
indicated on the holder
4) Slide back the battery holder so that it engages
5) Place the microphone cartridge onto the handle
in such a way that the 4-pole contacts (5) of
cartridge and handle engage, then screw the
cartridge onto the handle
Never put discharged batteries or defec-
tive rechargeable batteries in the house-
hold waste; always take them to a special
waste disposal (e g collecting container
at your retailer)

Setting into Operation

1) To switch on, set the switch POWER (4) at the
lower end of the microphone to ON The display
(2) indicates the transmission channel adjusted
and a battery symbol appears, indicating the
current charging status of the batteries in sev-
eral steps:
fully charged
2) To remove the plastic cap (3), slightly press down
the grooved latch on the rear side of the cap
and remove the cap
Then the control elements with the three
adjusting keys (8, 9, 10) are accessible (fig 5)
To actuate the keys, use a thin object, e g a
small screwdriver

3) Adjust the transmission channel for the micro-
phone (see chapter 5 1) Switch on the receiver
and adjust it to the same channel (see operating
instructions of the receiver)
Switch on the audio unit (mixer or amplifier)
connected to the receiver
4) Speak / sing into the microphone To readjust the
volume of the microphone, modify the sensitivity
(see chapter 5 2)
5) The microphone is provided with a key lock
to prevent inadvertent switch-off or operation
(
 chapter 5 3)
6) After all adjustments have been made, replace
the cap (3) To colour-code the microphone, the
cap may also be replaced by one of the supplied
coloured caps
7) To switch off the microphone after operation, set
the switch POWER (4) to OFF The display briefly
indicates
5.1 Adjusting the transmission channel
1) Keep the key SET (8) pressed for 2 s
on the display
Note: To exit the adjusting mode without making any
adjustment, press the key SET repeatedly until
appears on the display Then the unit returns to normal
operation
