any specific technical knowledge Please read these
instructions carefully prior to operation and keep
them for later reference All operating elements

1 Overview
1.1 Fig. 1: Hand-held microphone
1 Microphone cartridge; to insert batteries, un-
screw the cartridge (figs 2 to 4)
2 LC display; shows the transmission channel
and the charging status of the batteries during
operation
3 Cap for control elements; remove the cap for
operation (fig 5)
4 Power switch

5 4-pole contact, on the microphone cartridge

prior to assembling the microphone cartridge
and the handle, connect the contacts

in arrow direction

with the unit not locked:
to call up and to exit the adjusting modes

9 Key for channel selection "down" (in the
channel adjusting mode), to reduce the sensi-
tivity (in the sensitivity adjusting mode) and to
deactivate the lock function (in the lock mode)

for channel selection "up" (in the chan-
nel adjusting mode), to increase the sensitiv-
ity (in the sensitivity adjusting mode) and to
activate the lock function (in the lock mode)

Important Notes

The microphone corresponds to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with

The microphone is suitable for indoor use only
Protect it against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C)

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
chemicals or water
•
No guarantee claims for the microphone and
no liability for any resulting personal damage or
material damage will be accepted if the micro-
phone is used for other purposes than originally
intended, if it is not correctly operated or if it is
not repaired in an expert way
If the microphone is to be put out of
operation definitively, take it to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which is not
harmful to the environment
3 Applications
In combination with the multifrequency dual re-
ceiver US-902D / 5 from JTS, this dynamic hand-
held microphone with multifrequency transmitter
makes up a wireless audio transmission system
Within the UHF frequency range of 518 – 542 MHz,
the transmission channel can be selected among
16 channels as desired
The microphone is supplied with a stable
transport case, a microphone holder and several
push-on plastic caps of different colours

quires a frequency assignment (for which a fee
