19.19 Option: remaining monitoring time

CDIS: Remaining monitoring time
Display range: 0 ... 30:0 ... 24 (dd:hh)
Once values have been entered for parameters PDIS, TDIS and
DDIS, the time remaining to the end of monitoring is displayed
in the CDIS parameter.
If this period finishes, but a disinfection activation delay has
been set, the SDIS parameter flashes and shows the time re-
maining to activation. On completion of the disinfection cycle,
parameters DDIS and SDIS are hidden and only CDIS remains vis-
ible.
During the CDIS period, if storage cylinder top temperature stays
above TDIS for the time DDIS, the value of CDIS is reset equal to
the entire period PDIS

19.20 Minimum speed

nMN: Minimum speed
Setting range: (10) 30 ... 100 %
Default setting: 30 %
nMN if ODB activated: 50 %
Thermal energy metering can be implemented in two ways:
with a fixed flow rate or with a Grundfos Direct Sensor™ VFD.
9
Note! If devices with no speed control (e.g. valves) are con-
nected, minimum relay speed must be set at 100 %.
nMX: Maximum speed
Setting range: (10) 30 ... 100 %
Default setting: 100 %
The nMX parameter lets you set a maximum speed for the pump.
9
Note! If electrical equipment with no speed control (e.g.
valves) is used, set the relay speed to 100 % or set the pump
control to OnOF to deactivate speed control.
19.21 Grundfos Direct Sensor™ activation
GFD: Grundfos Direct Sensor™ activation
Selection: OFF , 12, 40, 40F
Default setting: OFF
Activation of a digital sensor to measure flow rate and meter
thermal energy.
OFF
no Grundfos Direct Sensor™
12
VFD 1 - 12 (only in water/propylene glycol mixes)
40
VFD 2-40
40F
VFD 2-40 Fast (only in water)

19.22 Thermal energy metering

OHQM: Thermal energy metering
Setting range: ON, OFF
Default setting: OFF
When the OHQM function is activated, the quantity of heat pro-
duced can be calculated and displayed. Thermal energy meter-
ing OHQM can be implemented in two ways: with a fixed flow
rate or with a Grundfos Direct Sensor™ VFD.

19.23 Thermal energy metering with fixed flow rate

Thermal energy metering can be implemented with the aid of
a flow meter. To implement thermal energy metering, proceed
as follows:
− Set the flow rate shown by the flow meter in parameter
FMAX when the pump is running at maximum speed
− Specify the desired heat transfer medium and percentage
of anti-freeze in the parameters MEDT and MED%
