AV830SDIR
1. Make sure to use the appropriate power supply when installing the AV830SDIR, the
input power is DC12V/AC24V.
Be sure to connect the wires correctly, incorrect installations of the power source may
cause malfunction and/or damage to the video camera.
2. Do not attempt to disassemble the camera unit as eclectic shock may occur.
Do not remove the cameras set screws or cover, the camera has no serviceable internal
parts. If service is required seek out a qualified technician.
3 .Handle the camera with care; avoid dropping, striking or impacting the camera as this
could result in damage to the unit.
4. Do not store the camera incorrectly or expose it to rain or moisture.
Do not place the cameras in the following locations:
Locations with temperatures lower then -10C or higher than 50C
Locations with humidity that exceeds 95%
Locations with large amounts of water vapor or steam.
1/3 Sony Ex–view HAD CCD is employed by the AV830SDIR.
The Sony Ex-view comes with advanced WDR compensation which greatly
improves image quality when dealing with higher levels of contrast.

Thank you for your purchasing this product. Before attempting to connect or operate this product,
please read these instructions carefully and save this manual for future use.
AV830SDIR has advanced image processing technology with resolutions as high as
700TVL and advanced digital wide dynamic range, HS-BLC etc. To ensure a clear
and bright picture the AV830SDIR comes with a powerful OSD menu that includes
brightness contrast and color saturation adjustments, multi-area BLC white balance,
AGC and other functions. Mirror motion detection, privacy and other functions make
the AV830SDIR suitable for various special environments. A waterproof and vandal
proof design, combined with a 3-axis directional bracket allows for customized
viewing, 24hour monitoring and simple operation.
PRECAUTIONS
5. Clean the CCD faceplate with care.
When cleaning the CCD use only a soft cloth or piece of lens paper. Ethanol may
also be used.
6. Do not aim the camera at the sun or any bright light source as this may damage
the CCD.
7. Do not install the cameras near equipment that emits strong electromagnetic
fields such as wireless communication devices. This interference may cause
pictures irregularity and static on the video monitor.
