Starting and Exiting the Client Assistant

2.9.5.1

Login

To use the Client Assistant, you must start the Web browser, select the Client Assistant and log
on as a user.
The address (URL) of the Client Assistant depends on the configuration of your network.
Contact your system administrator for the address and note it here if necessary:
1.
Start your Web browser and, if necessary, maximize the browser window to screen size in
order to get a better overview.
2.
Enter the start address of the Client Assistant in the browser's address field and
push the return button.
The login page will be displayed in the browser window.
3.
Enter your user name in the User (or mailbox/ID number) field. Alternatively, you can en-
ter your code or mailbox number.
4.
Enter your HiPath Xpressions password or mailbox PIN in the Password (or telephone
password) field.
5.
Click the Login button.
If login has been successful your user data will appear on the page (see Section 2.9.7). If
login has failed the corresponding notification will be displayed. Try again please. If login
fails again, contact your system administrator.
