13. SERVICE INFORMATION
Subject : Request for level adjustment when installing a refrigerator
Symptoms : Occurrence of level difference between door left and right
Symptoms
At first-time installation of a large-capacity refrigerator, especially that of double-door type, if the refrigerated-room
door is not level due to floor uneven condition, it will cause not only poor appearance but also the following
symptoms.
1 That door doesn't shut right.
2 Gap exits at the door gasket part and condensation happens inside the refrigerator.
3 When opening one door, another door might also consequently open.
Request : How to Level
Surface on the floor is likely to cause level difference. Therefore, please adjust the followings, when installing a
refrigerator.
1 Level adjustment with adjustable legs
• For the details, please refer to the next page.
• In case the level difference problem cannot be fixed by only adjustment of adjustable legs or the caster at a
refrigerator underside surface corner is still floating, please adjust by using appropriate-thickness plates.
2 Level adjustment by using appropriate-thickness plates.
• For the details, please refer to the next page.
wCaution : After 4-5 days installation, level difference may occurred again due to intimacy of food weight, flooring
materials, etc. In this case, please re-adjust the adjustable legs.
