spurious
Emission on a frequency or frequencies which are outside the necessary
emission bandwidth and the level of which may be reduced without affecting the
corresponding transmission of information.
Includes harmonic emissions, parasitic emissions, intermodulation products and
frequency conversion products, but excludes out-of-band emission.
supervision Part of a functional entity, for example, power supply of the FIU 19 unit.
block; SB
Each supervision block has its own alarms, statistics, measurements, loops, and
so on. The numbering of SBs within a functional entity runs from 0 to 255.
