Cable Entry and Connecting

The power cable must enter the base section of the enclosure via the cable gland.
For connections direct to the main system board, pass the cable into the enclosure through the gland and allow
enough free cable length to prevent 'pulling' on the power connector when the lid is removed / replaced.
Once the cable is positioned as required, tighten the cable gland nut to hold the cable in place and create the
waterproof seal.
When connecting direct to the main system board, connections are first made to the power plug (supplied with
the instrument), and the plug is then engaged into the power socket as shown above. The plug and socket are
keyed for correct alignment.
Connection to the barrier type terminals is as shown above. Connections between the terminal board and the
main system board are already in place as part of the detector assembly and require no user attention.
