Product Description

12.1

General Function

The present RFID handheld terminal is a device for the mobile acquisition and transfer of
data.
There are two types of this terminal available:
IQT1-HH27 -> HF RFID Reader (13,56 MHz, ISO15693)
IPT-HH27 -> LF RFID Reader (125 kHz) for usage with P+F TFID tags IPC...
With that device the memory of passive RFID tags of the correct type can be read and written.
Depending on the frequency, size of the tag and mounting conditions the sensing range can
vary from a few mm (e.g. a small tag mounted flush in metal) up to several cm (a 50mm tag
mounted on plastic). The handheld terminal has an intergated antenna (see chapter 14.8) and
is designed for harsh operation conditions due to ist robust housing.
12.2

Intended Use

Do not use the system e.g. in explosive areas or other hazardous areas.
Observe all warning information regarding the use of wireless devices.
