feature provides a simple and
convenient way to make a timed
recording.

If you wish to watch the DVD playback
during the OTR, press DVD to change
to DVD mode and perform the DVD
playback(see P.36).

Preparation:
• Turn ON the TV and set to the video input mode.
• Make sure TV/VCR/DVD switch has been slided to VCR/DVD.
Then press VCR to select the VCR mode. (The VCR indicator
will light)
Example: One-touch Timer Recording for 30 minutes.

Press STOP or turn off the power.

Load a cassette tape with the erase
prevention tab intact.
The VCR will automatically turn on.
Press SP/EP to select the desired tape
speed SP or EP.
The tape counter and SP or EP will
appear on the screen for about 4
seconds.
Set the TV/CATV option to the appropriate position (See page
18).
Press Number keys or CH +/– to select
the channel to be recorded.
Press REC on the VCR or while holding REC, press PLAY on
the Remote to begin recording. Press the button again to stop
recording after 30 minutes. Each additional press of REC will
increase recording time as shown in the chart below, up to a
maximum of 5 hours. The OTR and recording time will appear
on screen for about 4 seconds.
