Text markings The bullet indicates activities which may be carried out in any order. 1. Figures denote activities which must be carried out in the numerical order specified.
Teach procedure In the Teach procedure, the SPC11 checks the set parameters, learns the position of the mechanical fixed stops as well as various characteristic system values and saves these in the integrated EEPROM.
1) These manuals contain the permitted drive-valve combinations, drive diameters and mass loads as well as the parameter settings of the SPC11 which are valid in these cases. Please note For installation and commissioning you will require the System manual as well as the manual “Drive-specific sup-...
Only then can the correct func- tioning of the system be guaranteed. Please note For operating the DGPI(L)- ... you will require the SPC11 type SPC11-MTS-AIF. For operating the DGP(L)-... with the MLO-POT-...-TLF measuring system you will require the SPC11 type SPC11-POT-TLF.

Take the utmost care when setting the parameters. Certain conditions of use must be made known to the SPC11. These conditions of use are described in the three following parameters which are entered directly on the SPC11:...
Page 36
2. Parameters of the SPC11 for the DGP(I)(L)-... Specifications for setting the parameters In order to set the parameters, you will require the following specifications: – Cylinder stroke length (see type plate for drive used). – Valve type (see type plate for proportional directional control valve used).

2. Parameters of the SPC11 for the DGP(I)(L)-... Setting the parameters Warning Incorrectly set parameters can cause damage to the fixed stops and to the drive. Always set the amplification and cushioning stages for the maximum mass load used. If in doubt, set first the ampli- fication and cushioning stages for the larger mass load.
