INSTALLA ATION Before inst tallation, ensu re the grease f fittings and sea aling surfaces o of connection f flanges were n not damaged d uring transporta tion. Clearly id dentify the valv ve through its n nameplate, ch eck its weight with the packi ing list or relev vant documents s, and then pla ace it on a hori zontal surface using suitable e handling equi ipment. Handling e equipment mus st be provided which is appro opriate for the e total weight o of the package . Pay particula r attention t that slings do n not damage the e gear or actua ator. ...
