Step 2 Setting the date and time
The year changes as follows:

2079
To return to FN (Function)
Press EXIT.
Note
Instead of DST SET, SUMMERTIME is displayed on the screen for some models.
If you do not set the date and time
"– – – – – – – – –" and "– –:– –:– –" are recorded on the tape or the "Memory Stick" as
the data code.
Note on the time indicator
The internal clock of your camcorder operates on a 12-hour cycle.
– 12:00 AM stands for midnight.
– 12:00 PM stands for noon.
Simple setting of clock by time difference
You can easily set the clock to the local time by setting a time difference. Set up the
AREA SET and DST SET items in the menu settings.
