11. Snooze

The radio has a timer function, which switches the radio to
standby mode after a pre-defined length of time.
• Repeatedly press [SNOOZE] on the remote control to
set the desired time interval (off/15/30/45/60/90/120
minutes).
• Once the pre-set interval has elapsed, the radio switches
to standby mode.
• Press [volume -/+] / [ ] to turn the radio back on.
• If a time interval is already activated, you can change or
disable it (off) at any time by pressing [SNOOZE] again.
Note
The backlight for when the timer function is activated
(snooze) can be set separately; for example, it can be
darker than in normal mode (see 13.7 Backlight).

12. Alarm clock

The radio allows you to set two different alarm times.

12.1 Settings

The configuration of alarm 1 and alarm 2 is identical. They
allow two alarm times to be saved independently. Select
alarm 1 or 2 by repeatedly pressing [alarm] and pressing
[enter/navigate] to confirm, and then configure the
following settings using [enter/navigate].
Alarm clock:
• Select On to configure the alarm settings. The alarm

Select the hours for the alarm time first, and then the
minutes.

Duration:
Select a time interval (15/30/45/60/90 minutes). The alarm
remains active for the selected time interval.
Source:
Set whether you wish to be woken by an alarm tone
(buzzer), DAB or FM.
Programme:
If you selected DAB/FM, choose which station you wish
to be woken with. You can choose any of the 10 favourite
station slots or the Last listened.
Mode:
Choose when the alarm is to activate:
→ Daily – Once – On weekends – On weekdays
Days:
If you selected Once, enter the date for the one-off alarm.
Volume:
Select the volume with which you would like to be woken.
This setting makes it irrelevant how loud you last listened
to the radio.

Note

This ensures that the time is always updated, even
after the power supply is disconnected – for example,
if the power fails.
