X Editing a Movie's First and Last Scenes
You can edit out the first and last scenes of a movie in approx. 1-sec.
increments.

Pause movie playback.
The movie playback panel will appear.
g

On the movie playback panel,
select [ X ].

Specify the part to be edited out.
Select either [ U ] (Cut beginning) or
z
[ V ] (Cut end), then press < 0 >.
Press the < Y > < Z > keys to see the
z
previous or next frames. Keep holding
down the key to fast forward or fast
rewind the frames. Turn the < 5 >
dial for frame-by-frame playback.
After deciding which part to edit out, press
z
< 0 >. The portion indicated by a line at
the bottom of the screen will remain.

Check the edited movie.
Select [ 7 ] and press < 0 > to play
z
back the edited movie.
To change the edited part, go back to
z
step 3.
To cancel the editing, press the
z
< M > button.
