MF: Focusing Manually

If focusing is not possible with autofocus, you can magnify the image
and focus manually.

(2) Magnified area position

Set the lens's focus mode switch to
<MF>.
Turn the lens focusing ring to focus
z
roughly.

Magnify the image.
Press the < u > button, then the
z
< B > button.

Move the magnified area.
Move the area horizontally by turning
z
the < 6 > dial or vertically by turning
the < 5 > dial. You can also move
the area by pressing the < V > cross
keys.
To center the magnified area again,
