Electrical connection IRL
This tumble dryer is supplied ready for
connection to an a.c. single phase 220 -
230 V, 50 Hz supply. The voltage, rated
load and fuse rating are given on the
data plate. The machine is supplied
with a mains cable with moulded plug.
Any electrical work on this appliance
should only be carried out by a compe-
tent person in accordance with national
and local safety regulations.
Important
The wires in this mains lead are col-
oured in accordance with the following
code:
Green/yellow = earth
Blue = neutral
Brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains
lead of this appliance may not corre-
spond with the coloured markings ident-
ifying the terminals in your plug, pro-
ceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured green and
yellow must be connected to the termi-
nal in the plug which is marked with the
letter E or by the earth symbol z or
coloured green or green and yellow.
The wire which is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured brown must
be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or coloured red.

countries
(The German standard version is sup-
plied with an approx. 2 m long cable
and moulded plug for connection to a
220/230 V single phase supply. It must
only be connected via a fused 16A
socket. See data plate for rated load.
Any electrical work should be under-
taken by a fully competent person).
