What to do if . . . ?
. . . Drying times are too
long?
. . . the machine door has op-
ened during the drying pro-
gramme?
. . . the interior drum lighting
does not come on?
. . . the light around the pro-
gramme selector does not il-
luminate?
. . . to open the door in the
event of an emergency.

Cause . . .
– The laundry was not spun
for a sufficiently long time.
– The dryer cannot draw
in any air.
– Ventilation of air to and from
the dryer is insufficient
(e.g. in a small room).
The machine was overheating.
Possible causes:
– The fluff filter in the door is
clogged up.
– The air vent duct is blocked.
– The ventilation outlet (e.g.
slatted window or wall vent)
is blocked.
The bulb may be defective.
The bulb may be defective.
Remedy . . .
When the machine is in
operation, open a door or the
window.
Clean the fluff filter in the door.
– Clean the part which is
blocked.
– After cleaning press
"Start".
If the door opens again, there
is a technical fault.
Contact the Miele Service
Department.

is in no way affected. Please
contact your dealer or the
Miele Customer Service
Department for advice on
changing the bulb.
