Problem solving guide
The interior drum lighting does not
come on:
Changing the bulb
Open the door.
Before changing the bulb, switch off
the machine or disconnect from the
mains power supply.
Unscrew the plastic cover inside the
drum, above the door using a size 19
open jawed spanner.
Replace the bulb and screw the plas-
tic cover back on.
The light bulb must not exceed the
maximum wattage quoted on the
data plate and the light cover.

The cover must be fixed securely,
as otherwise moisture may seep in
and cause a short circuit.
The temperature resistant bulb should
be ordered from your Miele dealer or
the Miele Spare Parts Department only.
