4.8 Power supply cable connection
Remove the lower back of the appliance to access the power supply terminal board. Loosen the
cable retainer located on the rear of the back (see Fig.1) and run the cable through it. The cable
must also go through the suitable hole on the electrical components panel, until reaching
Prepare conductors for connection with the terminal board so that the earth conductor is the
last to be extracted from its terminal in the event the cable should be abnormally pulled. The
connection must be done from the top of the terminal board.
Connect the 3 phase conductors to the input of the 3 terminals marked with "L1"(brown
conductor) "L2"(black conductor) e "L3"(grey conductor), the neutral conductor (blue) to the
input of the terminal marked with "N1", (short circuit terminals "N1" , "N2" and "N3" among
them) and the earth conductor (yellow/green) to the terminal marked with the symbol
(see
diagram also available by the terminal board):
Mount the lower back and tighten the clamp on the back. The cable must correspond to the
one shown in the table "Specifications" (paragraph 2.2).
4.8.1 Condensing hood connection
The oven is designed to be connected to the hood mod. EKKC 20; that is why it is equipped
with a special terminal (2 poles) accessible by removing the rear panel.
The cable of the hood must be connected to the terminal block respecting the oven electrical
"L"
polarity: the brown wire must be connected to terminal
of the block, while the blue wire
"N"
must be connected to terminal
of the block.
Close to the terminal block of the oven there is a label that identifies the type of power supply
of the hood.
4.9 Connection to the water mains
The oven must be supplied with softened drinking water with a hardness value of 0.5 to 3°F (It
is obligatory to use water softener to reduce the formation of scaling inside the cooking
chamber). The water pressure must be in the range of 100 to 200 kPa (1.0 – 2.0 bar). If the
water pressure exceeds 2.0 bar, install a pressure reducer device upstream. If the pressure is
below 1.0 bar, use a pressure pump to increase the level.
The connection to the water supply is done using the
" threaded solenoid valve on the back
¾
(at the bottom) of the appliance (see fig. 1), fitting a mechanical filter with a cut-off cock
(before connecting the filter, allow a certain amount of water to flow out in order to remove
any waste from the pipe).
Warning
Any damage caused by limescale or other chemicals contained in the water are not covered by
warranty.
