Joining the track sections ith interlocking roadbed and large rail tabs, each FasTrack track section connects securely. Refer to Figures 1 and 2 as you connect the Operating Track section. 1. Line up your two sections of track. 2. Insert the rail tabs into the openings at the ends of the corresponding rails.

Placing the Operating Track near a loading platform f you are placing the Operating Track section in front of a loading platform or other operating section, you may need to detach the beveled roadbed one side or the other for clearance.

Operating the central magnet ithout making any additional connections, your Operating Track is powered through track power. Be sure that your throttle is set to 10-12 volts (AC) to activate the magnet. To uncouple or operate your rolling stock, position the trigger disc over the central magnet, press the UNCOUPLE button on the controller, and the magnet will pull the trigger disc downward to release the coupler or activate the car.
Operating the control rails ome cars feature trucks with sliding contact shoes. As illustrated in Figure 5, position the car on the Operating Track section so that the contact shoes are positioned on the control rails. Press UNLOAD on the controller to activate the car. Connecting the track section to an accessory power supply or operation in the TrainMaster Command Control environment or to operate the track section when your layout is powered down, we recommend that you connect your Operating Track Section to a separate accessory power supply. This track section is designed to operate at 10-12 volts (AC).
