WATER TEMPERATURE SETTING - SECTION 4
WATER TEMPERATURE SETTING

TEMPERATURE SETTING

The water heater temperature can be set between
40°C and 70°C using the + and – buttons on the
control panel. The maximum temperature for the
Legionella flushing programme is 75°C.
The lower the temperature, the lower the chance of
lime deposits (less maintenance). The risk of scalding
is also less (think of children, those with special needs
and the elderly). To avoid the formation of Legionella
bacteria, the water heater temperature must be set
to at least 60°C. Thermostatic mixing valves must be
fitted at point of use in some applications.
ADJUSTING TEMPORARY TEMPERATURE
CHANGE
If use is made of the programme for temporary
temperature change (see page 16), the new
temperature is set as follows:
Press the reset button down for longer than 5
seconds;
L appears in the left segment of the display. The water
heater temperature is shown in the 2 right segments;
the new temperature can be entered using the + and
– buttons. The new temperature is set by pressing the
reset button once again; C 00 appears in the display.
Pressing the reset button again switches the display
back to the normal menu. If the new temperature is
not set within 1 minute, the display switches back to
the normal menu without recording the new value.
