5. Anschließend wird der Scheitel von seiner Befestigung gelöst und die Mittelleinenschlaufe in das Zentrum der
Scheitelleinen gebracht. Dies ist äußerst wichtig damit bei einer Auslösung der Scheitel nicht einseitig belastet wird.
Der Scheitel wird mit Hilfe der Mittelleine in die Schirmkappe hineingezogen. Hierzu zieht man an der Hauptverbin-
dungsleine, bis die Fangleinen und die Mittelleine gleichlang und nebeneinander liegen. Der kreuzungsfreie Verlauf der
Fang- und Mittelleinen ist einer der wichtigsten Arbeitsvorgänge beim Packen! Unbedingt kontrollieren ob alle Leinen
kreuzungsfrei und ohne Durchschlaufung verlaufen! (Abb.6)
The apex is released now from the carabiner and the pulled down apex line loop is brought into the centre of the
apex lines. This is very important, to ensure that the apex is evenly loaded when the reserve is thrown. The apex is
drawn into the canopy using the pulled down apex line. To do this, pull on the bridle, until the suspension lines and the
pulled down apex line are the same length and lying beside one another. Ensuring that the suspension lines and pulled
down apex line do not cross over one another is one of the most important steps during packing of the reserve. It is
critical to check that all the lines are untangled.
6. Die durch das Einziehen des Scheitels entstande-
nen Falten, werden nun nachsortiert. Um zu vermeiden,
daß durch das Ziehen an dem Kappengewebe, der Scheitel
wieder aus der Kappe gezogen wird und somit das Längen-
verhältnis zwischen Mittelleine und Fangleinen verändert
wird, sollte die Mittelleine an dem Gewicht fixiert werden.
