Unit 4: Operation

DISPENSE STOP POSITION

The dispense stop postion determines how far a printed label is fed for dispense. The following
procedure provides guidance on this adjustment.

LCD BRIGHTNESS ADJUSTMENT

The brightness of the LCD panel may be adjusted through a potentiometer integrated into the
bottom side of the main circuit board. To access the VR5 potentiometer, remove the battery
cover located on the bottom of the printer chassis. Adjust the potentiometer to the desired result
and replace the cover.

Load printer with media.
Remove maintenance cover.
Set VR1 potentiometer to 12 o'clock postion.
Turn printer on.

Press ENTR twice.
PRINT
NORMAL
DEMAND
Press
to scroll.
Select DEMAND for the
dispenser mode.
Press ENTR.
REAL TIME PRINT
ON
OFF
Press
to scroll.
Select the OFF option.
Press ENTR.
PRE-EDITED PRINT
ON
OFF
Press
to scroll.
Select the OFF option.
Press ENTR repeatedly until the
following screen appears.
FORMAT No.
[ 0 0 ]
HT200e
Enter 01.
Press ENTR.
Press the [8] key seven times to set the barcode format. Press ENTR.
Press the [8] key three times to set the code format. Press ENTR.
Press the [8] key six times to set values for printing. Press ENTR.
Printing
commences.
Turn the VR1 potentiometer each time a label prints until the proper
adjustment is achieved.
