OPERATING & MAINTENANCE TIPS
The EMHT40's battery should be kept charged and charged frequently to avoid damaging it.
Using the AC adaptor, it takes about 4 hours to fully charge the battery from a completely
discharged state. Trickle-charging the battery from a PC's USB port takes longer.
Over time, the tip of the impact body will abrade and reduce the EMHT40's measurement
accuracy. Whenever measured values seem unusually large, calibrate the instrument by
following the procedure described on pages 16 and 17.
