    6.0 Electrical connections Canadian Electrical Code, C22.1. The HVBS-56V Band Saw is rated for 115V power only. The band saw comes with a plug designed for use on a circuit with a grounded outlet that looks like the one pictured in A, Figure 6-1.

    6.2 Extension cords The use of extension cords is discouraged; try to position machines near the power source. If an extension cord is necessary, make sure it is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw.
