INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
EUROLINE ISLAND HOODS
WITH AIR RECOVERY SYSTEM
Read All Instructions Thoroughly Before Beginning Installation
WARNING - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK,
OR INJURY TO PERSONS, OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
A. Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified
person(s) in accordance with all applicable codes and standards,
including fire-rated construction. Switch power off at service panel
and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent power from
being switched on accidentally during installation.
B. When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not damage electrical
wiring and other hidden utilities.
C. Sufficient air is needed for proper combustion and exhausting of
gases through the flue (chimney) of fuel burning equipment to
prevent back drafting. Follow the heating equipment manufacturer's
guideline and safety standards such as those published by the
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the American
Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers
(ASHRAE), and local code authorities.

  • Page 2 Volts Amps K250 ARS 4) Install an appropriate 1/2” UL listed electrical wire clamp into the junction box in the top of the duct cover. Install electrical wiring from the service panel to the duct cover location. Tighten the wire clamp.
  • Page 3 Installation Details Continued 7) Raise the hood to its final position and attach it to the duct cover using the screws previously removed in Step 3. Be careful not to damage the duct cover electrical harness wiring when aligning the top of the hood with the bottom of the duct cover by sliding the duct cover electrical harness plug into the receiving cutout in the top of the hood.
