The temperature measurement is absolutely essential for a reproduc-
ible ISE measurement. If the measurement is made without a temper-
ature sensor, proceed as follows:

Measure the current temperature using a thermometer.

Bring the test sample and calibration standards to the same
temperature (± 2 °C).
Note
For ISE measurements and ISE calibration, it is not possible to enter
temperature values manually.

4.4.2 Measuring the ion concentration

To perform ion concentration measurements, proceed as follows:

Perform the preparatory activities according to section 4.4.1.

Immerse the ISE electrode and, if necessary, the temperature
sensor in the test sample.

The AutoRead function (drift control) checks the stability of the mea-
surement signal. The stability has a considerable effect on the repro-
ducibility of the measured value.
