Normal effect due to
internal structure.

circuitry.
Remote control codes
do not match.
Remote control mode
is set to D.
Eyecup
Action
When power is turned
on, disk contents are
read. While disk is
read, disk mark
appears rotating and
digital disk camera
cannot be operated.
Wait until disk mark
stops rotating.
Not a malfunction.
Set remote control
codes properly.
Set remote control
mode to E.
1 Remove screws (2)
on side of viewfinder.
2 Pull out and remove
eyecup.
3 Clean dust from
inside eyecup and
viewfinder with a
blower or soft cloth.
œ Be careful not to
allow dust to get
inside digital disk
camera.
4 Put eyecup back
to original position
and secure with
screws (2).
