  • Page 4 Important Acid Catalyst Information Regulator model 26A081 is designed for acid catalyst (”acid”) currently used in two–component, wood finishing materials. Current acids in use (with pH levels as low as 1) are more corrosive than earlier acids. More corrosion– resistant wetted materials of construction are required, and must be used without substitution, to withstand the increased corrosive properties of these acids.
