UNPACK AND INSPECT
Carefully inspect the T3 Module for any shipping damages. If damage is sus-
pected, file a claim immediately with the carrier and then contact ADTRAN Tech-
nical Support (see the last page of this manual for pertinent information). If
possible, keep the original shipping container for returning the T3 Module for
repair or for verification of damage during shipment.

Figure 2-1 represents the action required for proper placement of the T3 Module,
as described here:

T3 Module
T3 Module User Manual (to be inserted into the ATLAS 800 User Manual)
Two six-foot long BNC-BNC (male) cables
Remove the option slot cover plate from the ATLAS 800 rear panel.
Slide the T3 Module into the option slot until the module is firmly positioned
against the front of the chassis.
Fasten the thumbscrews at both edges of the T3 Module.
